Help, I have posted pics on this forum for years. jpg's from my laptop no problem. Tried today (3/22/21) they would load to 50% and then I get an "ALERT" just those words and it freezes up and does not allow the pics to load. Any suggestions folks? Thanks.

We have been looking into this but need more information. Can you email a picture or two, to forumsupport@corvetteforum.com, that you have been unable to upload that generates the Alert error?

Thanks.

We're still looking into the issue but it might take some time to pintpoint the issue and then apply a fix.

In meantime, I attached the pictures to your post:

I recently tried several times to post a picture and the "browse your devices" doesn't work as it used to, it used to take me to all the actual photos to select any. Now if "pictures" at the top is selected, all I see are blue file icons and none have recent dates on them. If "photos" is selected then there are no photos shown, it says to open photos to see your photos in this list but nothing changes, no photos move over from the photo location. Selecting some other choices locks the computer up reqiring a reboot, this is on an imac.

Browser? Extensions? And have you tried an alternate browser to isolate the issue?

I called Apple today and they said their engineers are working on this problem.

I called Apple again and the rep suggested changing from the old Majave operating systen to the newer Big Sur system and that fixed the problem.

the file size is limited to 10MB and what you are describing is exactly what happens when I try to upload a file larger than that

Default Posted pictures upside down

Tried to post three pictures in a for sale ad. When the pictures load they are always upside down, i.e. the system flips them 180 degrees.

How can I either post them correctly to begin with or flip them after the ad is prepared by me but not published?

Upside down pictures are the result of taking the picture with the camera phone held upside down. Some applications, especially the photo app built into the camera, read the picture orientation and will adjust for it. Some websites will also read the data from the picture and make the correction but not every website do that. CorvetteForum does not.

You will need to either A) Take the picture right side up or B) Edit the picture's orientation with your own photo editing utility.

Microsoft Paint program will do that.
