Default Electrical Problem

Got my 64 back from paint shop. Noticed voltage, temperature and gas gauges were not working correctly. Next morning found
I had a dead battery. Checked electric system. When car turned off found I had 2.5 + amperes leakage. Replaced alternator
and voltage regulator. This solved my amperage leak and dead battery. Car starts fine now. Problem is all 3 gauges are not
operating correctly. I assume they are all bad. I am not to concerned with temperature and gas gauges. Will replace them.
But voltage gauge bounces for -40 to +40 all the time and I am concerned about the extreme voltage spike. Is the system
getting this voltage spiking or is it just the fact that the gauge is bad and reading inaccurately? Your comments / advise please.

This Help section is for Help with the CorvetteForum website (account issues, etc.,) and is not the place to post technical questions about Corvettes. Instead, please find the correct section, based on the generation of the Corvette.

Go back to the main forum page:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/

Now start to slowly scroll down until you see your generation of Corvette listed.

C1 or C2 (1953 - 1967)?:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...2-corvettes-4/

We encourage new members to take some time to browse around the site and read the Announcements and Stickies as they contain important and frequently asked information.

Thank-you

Maybe there would be less people asking vehicle questions here if the title is changed from “Help Forum” to “Forum Help”

This has been suggested a few times. It's possible to consider reviewing the title, however, I'm a part of multiple sites, like CorvetteForum, and the same issue occurs regardless of the difference of title.

That sometimes Classified Ads get posted in the Help section, which has nothing to do with "Help", further suggests it's not a simple title fix.
