I have noticed that anymore it takes close to a minute for the site to load, Why is that ? I have virtually no problem at any other website, corvette related or not, and it seems only one website loads so slow. I've done all maintenance and housekeeping and my PC is up to date on all programs and the cache is always cleaned out ? Thank You,

Keep in mind cache is used to help speed-up the loading/rendering of a webpage - especially one that's already been previously loaded. So keeping that "always cleaned out" will result in some slower speeds. However, unless you have a dial-up connection speed, it should not be "close to a minute" difference. Also, there are a few million websites online. Two, random, websites are more likely to be different than the same (from server settings and system to the software that powers the website). Nor are all websites located in the same area area accessed via the same path. Meaning, comparing websites and performance or lack of performance is not very accurate way to gauge where the issue is.
Without further information, it's difficult to give any specific answer as to your issue. However, my first guess would be you may have a CPU load issue. Some sites use more resources than others depending on the features. A loaded CPU can make the site load/render slower even if the network connection has the ability to access the data quickly.
A website's loading times, for example, is one of many factors that can have a result on search results and so CorvetteForum's load times are monitored and maintained. Not only does CorvetteForum load within a few seconds for me, but the recent report shows that's currently the average time for CorvetteForum's monitors. So if you're having an issue, it's likely something with your environment and/or network. CorvetteForum has little to no control over your network, your ISP and your ISP's path to the server. There's literally miles between you and the server that CorvetteForum (or any other website) cannot directly control.
Ok, Thank you, For comparison of like websites, CAC Corvette Action Center.com loads in less than 3 seconds, (I have broadband with RCN here outside Philadelphia, PA. I'm using Windows 10, however I'm starting to think I need to reload windows 10, I think it's a little corrupted. but never the less, it's my problem. Thank you for your assistance.
Odd thing I discovered, If I log on from Google it is instantons, but if I log on from the saved CF on my desktop it takes about 1 minute ?
CorvetteForum does not offer an automatic bookmark to desktop. So it's unknown what bookmark you have and where it actually points to. Because of that, we have no control over that experience. It could be an old link you bookmarked or it could be a malware link.
