Hi everyone, I just bought a 64 Fuelie that has a severe fuel leak at the shaft seal. The car runs great, but a lot of fuel is leaking out. The former owner purchased the shaft seal kit, but never installed it. Are there step by step directions with pictures on how to correctly replace the shaft and seal? The kit came with old instructions on using a tap to remove the old seal, but is a little vague on how this is done. Does the FI unit need to be removed from the engine or can I do this while it's in the car? The other issue is reinstalling the seal. The old instructions show a tool with exact measurements, but I haven't been able to find one. I guess I could have one machined, but is there an easier way to install the new seal?
