When I post a link to a product from Amazon, the link ends up being redirected to eBay or Walmart. The links do not go to Amazon. No big deal, as I just use these to illustrate a specific product that worked for me, but I am just interested how this happens.

My post is given below from the Generator thread. I think the problem is on my end. If I click this link on my iPhone it sends me to the correct product but at Walmart rather than Amazon. But now, on my Mac, it goes to Amazon. On my iPhone it seems to be redirected by "rd.bizrate.com" but can't find anyway to remove this. Interesting how it redirects to the correct product, just not the same vendor I chose.
We also have a portable generator. Keeps the water, heat, and a few appliances going when needed. Not having lights is bad enough, but not having water is really annoying. We thought about a whole-house automatic, but then balanced it off with the relatively low number of outages we typically have, and went with a noisy portable. (Another approach would be to go with a quiet Honda portable, but that increases the price.)
