I joined the forums a short time ago. I created a text only post in the C5 General forum that was immediately posted to the forum. Today I created a post in the C6 General forum that included three photos of the C6 I just purchased and on submitting the post I got a message that said the post needed Admin approval. Several hours later the post still isn't visible. Does each sub forum have its own posting rules? Did I do something wrong?

All new accounts, or accounts with low activity, are subjected to the spam filter. We can't disclose the specifics, which could be used to defeat the system, as the system is used to help protect the community from spammers and scammers. The reason why the results may vary is because it's based on your input. Content is scanned by the system to look for possible spam. It's not based on one criteria and the system gets updated to better flag content. If the system flags the content as possible spam, it is sent to a Moderation queue for manual review by the staff before it can appear to the public. The length of time for a post to be approved from Moderation queue varies as moderators are unpaid volunteers, with multiple per section, that manually review the Moderation queue.

Our best suggestion is to simply use the site for its intended purpose. Doing so will quickly help the account to become less subjected to the automated spam system.

I have manually approved your post in the C6 section.

Thank you, J T. I completely understand the SPAM issues. It just seemed strange to have it happen after making several other posts.
