You PMs are accessed by simply going to the upper-right corner and clicking on the Private Messages text-link that is shown below the Welcome message:
Once in the Private Message area, the content displayed is your Inbox (received messages).
To view your Sent messages, use the drop-down menu to change from the Inbox to the Sent box:
I'm not sure I fully understand your questions because these basic items haven't really changed in the last 5 years that you've been a member. So you may need to be a bit more specific.
I'd also suggest browsing around, view the UserCP: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/usercp.php and the FAQ: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/faq.php as well as read all the Announcements and Stickies as they contain important and frequently asked information.

thank you for the help . yes iv been looking on the forum for some time ,but im starting from the back end and coming forward. i cant get pictures but some of the info is interesting to read. i was informed not to email threads that were more then a few months old so in all reality .......forget it , i'll just .......thanks for the help im getting, this forum has a lot of neat stuff in it. i should join a club for help but my car is still in the building stage, putting on new front and back halves, breaks , a/c , steering wheel that tilts , electric harness ect ect nothing big. two years and still hoping to get it on the road some day with a 1968 front end and a 1956 back end with one head light on the right and two on the left. this is a one of a kind car that cant be bought at any price. two much vocabulary learned and blood lost. haha
