Default Why I have to turn off java script?

Is there an explanation why I have to turn that off every time I come to this site?

I also cannot post pictures anymore. Is that because java script is off?

I’m using an iPad if that makes a difference.

Thanks

There is no requirement to turn off javascript nor is it recommended to do so.

Yes, javascript is used for the picture posting process as well as many other functions on the site. This has been the case for years and is not uncommon to find javascript used on sites to enhance functionality.

Ok, but if I leave JavaScript on when I come to this site it repeatedly will shut off and then come back two to three times and then says it won’t open because too many problems.
Thanks

You may need to clear your browser's cache or disable 3rd party extensions. This is not normal behavior.

I will see if I can clear my cache, but I don’t know what you mean by third party extensions.

Sorry to be a bother.

Thanks

I do not recommend clearing cookies, only cache, because cache is where an issue may be. Clearing cookies will mean you may have to re-enter all of your username/passwords to each of your account-based websites, especially if not using the password manager, as the logins will be forgotten.

It's also possible the ipad you're using is either old or has too limited resources.
