Spell check is not part of the CorvetteForum software but, instead, is done by your browser. So you may have a setting or extension issue with your browser.

It works correctly in Chrome:

It works correctly in Firefox:

Spellcheck works on my IPad with Safari also. But I turn it off in Settings, General, AutoCorrection.
Sometimes Spellcheck changes correct words to totally different words.

When it does that for me, it still always allows me to use the spelling I wanted.

I do use Chrome for my browser.

The spell check is part of the browser and not CorvetteForum. The browser sees a "message area" for a website and automatically activates spell check when the user types. That spell check is built into the browser. How the browser handles the spelling and corrections is completely up to the browser and not CorvetteForum nor any other website. The website has no control over the browser's spell function.

Just FYI.
