Default Reduce bio information to improve thread browsing experience

Nothing against any member of this forum, and I applaud those that have donated to St. Jude's or been a member for 10, 20 or more years, but would it be possible to relegate all of that information to their personal bio page? It would reduce the amount of space each post takes up on-screen, which currently makes threads much longer to scroll through than they should. See the attached example, where a four word response takes up the majority of the screen. I can't imagine how this comes up on mobile. (Note: I'm in my 40's, with perfect vision using HD monitors and have no issue reading small text. So it's not like I'm rocking 800x600 resolution on a CRT monitor from 1997.)

I personally don't care about any of that bio information, but others might. I think just showing things like Joined Date, # of posts and Location would suffice. If someone wants to dig deeper into another user's history/achievements, they can.

Thanks for your consideration, and keep on drivin'.

Doesn't seem to be a problem for the other 500,000 members. It gives us more reason to appreciate their presence.

On mobile, that information is not displayed. On mobile devices the space and resources are more limited. In your example, on my environment, it does not take up the entire screen. This is going to vary based on your settings.

Based on my crude illustration, using your example post and another from someone that 1)Doesn't have an avatar and 2)Doesn't have any profile information filled out besides one location line, you can see there is approximately 2.75 difference between a bare minimum example and your example. There is a difference, of course, but on a desktop/laptop in today's environment it's not an enormous difference like it would have been in 10 or 20 years ago.

While there is a view point that information should go in the profile, the profiles aren't read as frequently and are less part of the community than the messages.
