If it’s your own video, it’s easier to download to YouTube then upload it here.

YouTube would be the best place to post videos as that's their main service. We provide the ability to upload content but videos/movies that have any length are a different media. If you need help using YouTube, please see YouTube's extensive community help for basic instructions.

After you've uploaded the video, all you do is copy the URL of the YouTube video then paste that URL inside the message area.

Wish I could be more help, when I got to YouTube I just hit “Share” curved arrow. Then “copy link” then just paste it to wherever you want to put it.

It doesn't sound to me like you're trying to upload a video to YouTube so that you can share it here. It does not involve changing your video player.

You need to create a YouTube account and follow their directions to upload and use YouTube.

Once you have the video on YouTube, you can then share the video by using the Share button and copy/paste the URL.

That's not enough information to work from.

Get the video onto YouTube. Is this done already? If not, that's the first step. For help doing that, you will need to consult with YouTube's Help and Community.

Once the video is on YouTube, you load the video in your browser then copy the URL (address link - located in the browser's address bar) and paste it within a message here. Or use the Share button on YouTube, which copies the URL so that you can paste it.

You'll need to spend a little more time and work into doing this, as this is not something that we can do for you. YouTube is where most videos are uploaded/hosted online, so this is not specific to CorvetteForum. Most sites like CorvetteForum do not have the means to host videos, which is largely why YouTube is used.

For clarification, you don't use the Manage Attachments button nor the Upload button here when attempting to share it. You simply paste the URL inside this message area. It's just like sharing a link.

We don't have enough information.

You have one of the following issues:

1. If you've already got a YouTube account and the video is uploaded to YouTube, then you simply copy the URL and paste it in the message. You wouldn't get any "invalid" messages from CorvetteForum from simply copy/paste a link within a post. So you're doing something different if you are.

2. If you've already got a YouTube account but don't have the video uploaded to YouTube, then you need to use YouTube's support for help in using their services.

Looks like you were trying to link to this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQD07mjUEjM

Which you simply need to copy/paste that URL inside this message area to do this:

To get to that, see attachment:
