Stingray artwork
I’m trying to find someone that knows about car artwork (possibly concept car). I have been able to find a little about the artist a gentleman by the name of Allen Young. My grandfather worked at GM for years (starting in the early 60’s) and retired. He went back as a consultant and eventually ended up in his old office. One day he moved a filling cabinet and found some original artwork by Mr. Young. When he retired the second time in the mid 90’s (I think) he was given the artwork to keep. I always loved it as a kid and he passed it on to me. The artwork is from 1966 and it appears to be what eventually became the C3 corvette. It looks very similar to the Mako II concept. I’m hoping someone on here might know something or someone who might be able to give me more info. My grandfather isn’t long for this world and I’m hoping to tell him something while I still can.
