Default PM Notifications not working

In the past couple of weeks, I have gotten several private messages. None have triggered a notification to my email. I verified that in my settings, email notifications are checked - on. It may be an issue with the forum software, as I received a message from someone else who said the same issue was happening to them.

Email notifications are working on a global level. When an issue like this is reported it's usually:

A) Emails are going to the Spam/Junk/Bulk folder but it is not synced between the member's email provider and their email program. Thus contents are missed until logging into the email provider's system
B) Email provider is not delivering the emails to their customer

In your case, your email provider is not delivering our emails as they are currently rejecting them due to some "spam" concern.

We have very little control over when, or if, an email provider delivers our emails as we are not their customer. Your email provider is blocking our emails, which sounds to me you were not aware that they are blocking emails without your knowledge.

Thank you. It seems very strange since I do still receive notifications for subscribed threads at the same email address. What is the email domain that PMs come from? I will try to whitelist that domain.

Thanks!

Notifications come from forumsupport@corvetteforum.com

Your email provider and/or email client is filtering it. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing other than what we disclosed - which was a few weeks ago your email provider was temporarily delaying our emails claiming they were spam. I did not see any generated for PMs but they were for some thread subscriptions you have. Since you are their customer, and not us, there is very little we can do when an email provider takes this action.

I have added corvetteforum.com to my whitelist. Hopefully that resolves the issue. Thanks for the support!
