We are super excited to launch a new way to enjoy the CorvetteForum community from your desktop/iPad devices!
It's still a beta, but beginning today if you're logged in and visiting the Community from your iPad/desktop device, you can now choose a dark mode theme in addition to the standard 'bright' theme we've always had.
We are looking to you for feedback about the experience. Being that you are one of the first communities we're trying this out on, we appreciate any feedback you're able to provide.
Please enable dark mode using the toggle at the upper right, and let us know your feedback in this thread.
Along with the theme, we're also testing new icons inside dark mode to signify thread statuses. Here's a breakdown of what they are:
We're still tweaking icons like the Supporting Membership stars, but we look forward to the other feedback you can provide. Thanks and we hope you enjoy dark mode!
On an android phone running a chrome based browser, I can't tell the difference between threads I've viewed and those I haven't. In the screen shot below I have viewed the top two threads:
I really like it, but I would also like to be able to easily distinguish between threads I've already viewed vs everything else. Currently, every thread alternates between dark and light, so either make the ones I've viewed dark and the rest light, or vice versa, but otherwise, I like it and it's a welcome change!
It looks like you're using the mobile skin and dark mode. Please note this thread is for desktop dark mode. We released the mobile dark mode sometime back and had a simliar feedback thread. That said, the distinguising feature between read and unread is done via a bold font-weight. It works for me in my testing. It's possible there is a cache browser issue in your example?

Used it the last two days and like it. Someone said that a way to tell if we already read threads were available it would be nice. If it is there it is hard to distinguish. All said and done, good improvement. Now, as an eye doctor, I can say that there are many people with vision problems that will like the dark mode a lot, adn some who will not. So, suggestion is to maintain the choice.
