Default Can't message dm

I'm new but you don't explain how to become established member which is discouraging to come back here after over 10 tries ! I'm verified why can't I message !
I really need some info for my corvette on measurements from a post.

Newbies can't send/receive PMs for the first little while to prevent spamming. The exact number of days here or number of posts is not specified anywhere, but it's not very long. Try to do your communications via posts for a little while.

PM access is unlocked once you've become established. Those using the site for its intended purpose will quickly become established and have the access. If that information was outlined, specifically, it would work against having the measure in place. That measure is to help protect the community.

BTW, you show to have PM access. You joined in 2021. The system only upgrades accounts that are active. This means you must not have been very active on the site and is why PM access was delayed.

It's unclear to me why you need PM for info on your Corvette. Unless there is some personal or very specific information/discussion to need Private discussion, the bulk of information is shared in the public forums so that all can read, participate and learn.
