I can and have searched the past half dozen times for specific things, and get 3 pages of threads nowhere near related to my search, friday funnies, for sale ads, always seem to be up there at the top. I have tech questions on mostly the body for now, but I guess I'll be forced to just start new threads???? Any tips to get straight targets to information???

Use Google, type in your question and include "corvette forum" and the year car (or just C2) in your search words. You will get helpful topics about your subject that originated in the forum instead of the listing in every word you get from the forum search. This works and I use it all the time successfully. Some will tell you the forum search works well if you use it correctly or use advanced search. You are welcome to try that, but it doesn't work for me and the Google method is excellent.

No, just generic search so far........I'll try that and see if it pinpoints a bit better. Thanx
1. In the white box near the top right of this page click "search"
2. Click "advanced"
3. Type what you seek in the "keyword" box - try various combinations
4. If you wish, just below that box change the selection from "Searchentire posts" to "Searchtitles only", or leave it as is. I'd suggest starting with titles only
5. On the lower right side find "Searchin forum(s)", scroll down and highlight whatever forum(s) you want - "C1 & C2 Corvettes" for example
6. At bottom, click "search now"
Hope this is helpful for what you're trying to find.
