I restored my 63 roadster about 9 years ago. several years ago it developed a "thumping" noise in the left rear, only while coasting (both in neutral and in gear), the increased and decreased in direct corilation to vehicle speed. Noise disappears under slight to heavy acceleration. Drained diff oil (it was crystal clear) and refilled with new oil and clutch additive. Did figure eights, still there. Went to different Corvette shop (well recommended by local NCRS chapter, and they said it was RIGHT not left rear bearing. Replaced that, still there. They also said the rotors (I converted to disc brakes during restoration) were warped, cut them, noise still there. Any ideas?

Hello, this Help section is for Help with the CorvetteForum website (account issues, etc.,) and is not the place to post technical questions about Corvettes, or other questions not related to the website, as they will not be seen by other Corvette owners.
Instead, please find the correct section, based on the generation of the Corvette.
