1984 vs 2003 entry/exit difference?

1984 vs 2003 entry/exit difference?
I had a 2003 and had to sell it due to back problems, entry and exit was painful. LOVED driving it, hated getting and out.
I found a 1984 for a real good price and am seriously considering it. Main concern is if it is easier to get in and out of. It looks easier, seats don't look as low.
It is 250 miles from so I can't just try it out. I may ask someone with a close year at a local car show if I can "try it on".
So, what is everyone's opinions?
