Default I always get logged out.

At home, I usually have a tab always open at this site.
In the past few weeks/months, I noticed that if left alone after say, 20 minutes or so, I get automatically logged out.
I don't think it is my browser settings since this don't happen to other sites (YouTube, Reddit, etc.)

Is there a setting where I can change this?

Thanks.

Please see the following link, which is a sticky in this section:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...xpectedly.html

The only other addition is you show to have a Google-based login. If you're still using that (Google login) then those are sessions and they controlled by Google.

Logging in using a username and password, which most do who don't use Google or Facebook, will eliminate that issue.

I tried your suggestion which is to log in via username and password and still got logged out.

Please read the Sticky that I linked to as that will address the issue.

Yes I did.
In my experience, this forum works similar to my Etrade, bank, etc (which is fine btw)where I would get logged out after moments of inactivity with the exception of a Google/FB log in.

No, cookie-based logins (using username and password) are valid for up to 1 year. This can be seen if one examines the cookie set for the username/account.

The only reason you'd be logged out before 365 days is explained in the Sticky, which all are user-side.

Okay. Thanks.
I tried resetting my password by first using the "Forgot My Password". I get sent a new password but it would say that is wrong until I reached my limit.
It does allow me to log in again with Google but now, I have no idea what my CF password is.

Copy and paste the password plus make sure you're using the username to log in. It has to be 100% correct, since it's an account/password.

I tried it several times with copy/paste.

I still get this.

You have entered incorrect login credentials. Please press the back button, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!

You have used 1 out of 5 login attempts. After all 5 have been used, you will be unable to login for 15 minutes.
