Default Double Payments

My renewal came due and this forum charged my Paypal account twice, Anybody else have issues like this. Happened last year and it took a while to get it resolved.

There are typically only two reasons this can happen:
1) Member had two active memberships. This can happen if the member upgrades to a different membership level. Unfortunately, the system isn't smart in this event and simply considers it as two memberships. This can be resolved by removing the old subscription via the PayPal account.
2) Member manually paid the renewal via PayPal, when they received the notice that their membership was nearing expiration, but PayPal still automatically withdrawn for the subscription despite it was manually paid by the member.

We can do one of the following:
1) Issue a refund for the second charge this year
2) Add the additional charge to your membership renewal. In other words, the additional charge will extend your membership expiration date.

To prevent this from continuing you can either:
1) Allow PayPal to automatically renew the membership rather than manually renewing it.
2) Remove the subscription from PayPal and manually pay for the membership.
