Default Two Factor Authenticaton

Is the only program allowed to be used here "Authy" or can I use Microsoft Authenticator also?

No, that's not the only program "allowed". A 2FA program that uses time-based one time passwords should work. Not familiar with Microsoft's, but the setup for 2FA makes sure that you have a valid code before it is enabled. Therefore, if the Microsoft app doesn't work while you enable 2FA on CorvetteForum, it won't save. In other words, you should be able to try it without getting locked out.
