Assuming this is a PayPal charge, my understanding is that only you can control the autopay option., Please go to your PP account and change the frequency from recurring to one time payment. Then, send a PM to IB Jason detailing your double payment with dates and account name so he can make arrangement for one of the charges to be refunded.

I got an email from cf telling me that id receive a refund in 7-10 days of the 2nd unortharized $50 payment.
$50 was taken out may 19 and then again june 1

I called paypal and they have cancelled auto pay for CF

Hopefully, the $50 refund is in the process of being resolved...thank you!....

PayPal handles the subscriptions. Some of the memberships are autopay and agreed by the member during the process as was noted on the membership page. We understand members may not desire this and so we are working to provide more options as well as the fact that the member always has the option to go to their PayPal account and remove the autopay subscription. The membership that you paid for will still stay active during the purchase period, however, the autopay will not occur because PayPal manages the subscriptions and you would have removed that subscription from PayPal.

Again, PayPal manages the subscriptions. You can log into the PayPal subscriptions and confirm this as well as edit it. We can't do this as we do not have the ability to log into your account nor make changes to your PayPal account.

Regarding the double pay, that generally only happens for one of two reasons. 1) There's two active memberships. This was not your case. 2) The member manually paid as well as PayPal auto paid.

We can either refund you the extra year, or leave it to allow your membership to expire in 2028 instead of 2027.
