Is it just me or does it seem like the search function misses posts? I tried searching for my posts and it only comes back with archived posts. Am I missing something?
Phil
Search function does not always perform at 100% ..... Admins and software people are aware.. and hopefully working on the issue....
I think the above is putting it nicely! I have never once gotten it to work. I'd say it returns maybe 2% of the results on average and they seem to be random. It can't even find results where the word(s) is in both the subject and body and there are several posts that match on the very first page.
Don't understand why fixing it should be rocket science or take years as others are using similar forum software without issue.
The problem with the search is partially due to 10 Mil posts that this forum has recently surpassed
To get more accurate results, try to use Advanced Search, and limit your query as much as you can - choose appropriate forums, date ranges, users, whatever may be applicable. The more you can narrow down the amount of data to search through, the more accurate your keyword results will be.

Yeah right.
I searched for "faq" in the C6 Z06 forum and got no results.
So I tried "corvette"
No results.
What a crock.
I think that I will hunt down and lash the next person who says, "USE THE SEARCH" before you post.
Heck, I can't use it to try and reference to previous posts.
