Sorry to hear of your loss. Your daughter sounds like she was really special. Not only to you but others as well. The fact that she was a "car guy" makes her extra special. I know exactly what yor going through. We lost our daughter Kristin on 6/19/03 in an auto accident. She was my princess. She always thought that I was an old fart. I can picture her smiling as she watches my wife and cruise in my 63. Time doesn't make it any easier. Just take 1/2 a day at a time.

Glenn, our Friend

We attended the funeral of Glenn's angel, never realizing that our own personal tragedy awaited us. My son Brad, 37 died suddenly of an enlarged heart on August 7th, 2005. That year @ Carlisle when we saw Glenn it was very difficult to talk, but we did. Not a waking hour passes that Brad is not in my mind. We have a 5 year old Grandaughter and if Brad could only see her now, but I think he does. Take heart, my friend and rest asssured that our loved ones have only walked a little farther down the road than we, and we will see them again some day. God Bless you buddy!

Glenn,

No words suffice.

However, I want to express my thanks and gratitude to you -- For your courage and for sharing your story.

It helps us too.

It reminds us that life is fragile so we must cherish every moment as if it were our last...

God bless.

I can say that "I know how you feel". My daughter Sam met a tragedy not too long ago, 11/30/07 to be exact. Please be strong for your family.

Thank you all for the very kind and comforting words.

Linda's funeral was 3 years ago today and it hurts as much today as it did then....

To have so many friends that are ALWAYS there for me has made life somewhat bearable.

Thank You to all my very close friends and thanks as well to all my "Far Away" forum friends, most of whom I have never met but everyone here is like an extended family to me and I REALLY HONESTLY DO APPRECIATE every reply, email and PM I get from friends here at the Corvetteforum.

<========= LINDA, I LOVE YOU SWEETHEART..

Jim,
Your son is watching over his daughter everyday. You can bet on it! Just as Linda is looking over Glenn and my parents and inlaws are looking down over my wife and I. They are with us, always.

Condolences from the wife and myself. To lose a family member is tough. Losing a child, no matter what the age, is a grief that is totally unexplainable.

I read your post and can not imagine what you and your family have and are going through. I am posting this knowing that there is probably no words that can possibly offer you any consolation at this time. I merely want you to know that you and your family are in my prayers and thoughts and that I am very sorry for your loss.

Default So sorry for your loss.

Glenn,

I just read your story and it made me choke up. I have a daughter whose 17 now who is my entire world/life and couldn't imagine if I lost her. I say that because she's going through some depression and I'm worring terribley about her, even now since she started to drive there's more worry. I'm constatly making sure she's okay.

I'm so so sorry for your loss and the pain you're going through, Linda looks like a wonderful daughter a very happy person.

Please know she's smiling down at you and sending thoughts in her special way.

I know there's no words that anyone can say to make things better, and wish there was. No one should have to go through that pain of the loss of someone, especially a child.

My wife has been asking for a bike and I've been putting her off now I must give her a absolute NO !! It's for her own good. Plus she doesn't know how to ride.

My prayers are with you and your family.

Glen
