Ryan,
God Bless You, It is with a very heavy heart as I read and post. Sorry to have not made you aquantince before this but I lurk in the c5 only and spend most time in the C-4 section. But I beleive that God send strong and special people to us to carry a message and he has chosen you as a warrior, he will bless you and cradle you in his arms I have faith in that. You will from this day forward be in my thoughts and prayers.

Ryan,
I am a moderator for this section. I posted a link to your thread in Off-Topic. Many of my friends hang there and I felt they deserved to see your thread. If you look in OT, it's titled "For those who think there aren't amazing people out there."
And for all my compadres who came here to post, God Bless you as well.

You know, you've made me look at my current situation in a new perspective. I've been without a job for over 6 months and have been throwing myself some pretty good pity parties lately. :o
What I've been going thru is a mere pittance compared to the mountain you have in front of you, yet you seem to have maintained a positive attitude and have decided to continue making the most out of life. I applaud you for that and thank you for your post. I'm completely ashamed of myself and am now facing my mole hill with a much better perspective.
May God bless you sir and give you peace that passes all understanding.

Ryan,
Very touching and moving post. I am glad you were able to realize your dream of owning a corvette. I hope you have had plenty of opportunities to enjoy it.
I admire the way you are dealing with this illness. It shows real character.
I wish you, your family, and friends the best.

Ryan,
Your post shows that people can be touched by cyber contacts and puts into perspective the things that are most important. The love of family and friends can never be taken away.
With my deepest concern,
Phil Falk

Thanks for the sticky, Grumpy. I would've missed this otherwise.

Wow. I am deeply inspired by Ryan's story and all the posts offering Ryan such incredible words of compassion.
Ryan,
When my "day" arrives, I hope to face it with such class, courage, and faith as you have shown us here. I read no fear in your words. It makes me so very sad when such good people are taken so soon. It does remind us that at any time we may be called up before the man and be judged.
Be at peace. You're going to make a lot of new friends. I like to believe there are vettes in Heaven, too.
Blessings and prayers to you and your family.
Also to Pete, who posted earlier.

Ryan,
Today as I read your post I was reminded, with great appreciation, of the strength and courage that God has given each of us. We all use these gifts in different ways and have our own way of sharing these gifts with those around us. Some of us may use them for personal strength and some use them to strengthen those around us. Some will use courage to give themselves hope in hopeless situations and some share that courage for others to accept things as they are. Your strength and courage are surely destined to help bring strength and courage to your parents, family and to all who know you.
I am also reminded of the loved ones who went before me and I always smile, and sometimes laugh, at the memories we shared. Those who know and love you will also smile, and sometimes laugh, at the memories you share together.
Though I don't know you personally I will always give you a big Corvette wave when I drive my vette and am reminded of you and your family. You my friend are an inspiration and we at he Corvette Forum are honored to know you.

Tough post to read, with water leaking from my eyes,
I wish you the best seat on Gods hand. Know inner peace.
If you get to Gods Corvette show before us, save us a parking place,
We'll be looking for you.
A Cruisein is planed - April 11th-Details are in, check Great Lakes section for information.
