My friend Martin, although no way involved with corvettes or this forum, has had the hardest year of his life. Last week his mom died of cancer, which was unexpected. The family was told by the doctor that she was improving, then something went wrong and it all went downhill.

In addition, his dad died last September of a heart attack. He is only 17, and this is not what he needs in his life at this point. So if you're religious, just keep him in your prayers. He seems to be coping well, but I don't know how long that will last.

That is a terrible thing to happen to such a young person. I met a guy in college who was in the same circumstances. Felt so sorry for him. My deepest sympathies to your friend.
