On July 4th we lost a great friend whom many on here knew. Steve (Stevo92z28) was out for a ride on his motorcycle doing what he loved when he was involved in a fatal accident. His love for cars and bikes was an integral part of his life and one that he bestowed to me through our 7 years together. For all that knew him I encourage you to attend his service on Saturday, July 13th at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, VA. We are organizing a ride/cruise the the service and I know Steve would be honored to have as many badass cars and great people get together in his name. Please PM me for more information. I will keep things updated here with cruise location and time as it develops.
With a heavy heart,
Joley

My deepest condolences. I, too, met Steve at MIR. What a great guy.
I'm very sorry for your loss.

Definitely very sad to have a fellow racer leave us so early in life. Steve was a good friend and all around good guy to be around. Just laid back and enjoyed racing just like the rest of us. Our prayers go out to his family and friends that need it the most. Steve will be missed.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. They are needed and appreciated. I wanted to give updated information about the ride. We are meeting at noon at Astoria Pizza in Woodbridge, VA and will depart for the service in Springfield about 1:10. I would love for as many awesome cars and people as possible to be there. Some people are only eating pizza (Steve's favorite food) and cruising and not attending the service and that's absolutely fine. Please let me know if you are coming.
