David Pearn, The OKC Corvette Clinic
I just heard yesterday that David died of a stroke after he had his heart attack a few months back from his neighbors at Merles. I was really troubled by this news and still in a funk over him passing. Thought there would be something in the memorial posts but nothing. David Pearn would be my go-to guy when I was stumped and couldn't deal, he was a Corvette genius and had seen it all. He built more national record holders at Thunder Valley dragstrip in his day and was truly gifted by the Chevy Gods. He 'tweaked' my L82 and renewed its long life right before he fell ill and it runs like a scalded dog! Rest in Peace, David Pearn, I will miss chatting with you and your expertise you graciously shared with all. Pete K.
