Steve Adkins (2 Grumpy) - RIP brother
It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of Steve Adkins (2 Grumpy). In 2005, Steve and I were new to the Corvette ownership world at the time and being a CF member. He had a red 91 coupe and I had a red 96 coupe. Steve was the first person I met on the CF in the Southeast region area. We became friends almost immediately. Through the years we both experienced the pleasures of owning C4's; C5's and C6's about the same time. We started working on the cars by modding the cars to our taste, attending car shows and going to cruise in. A few times over the years we traveled to Bowling Green to hang out at the plant or during the bash.
Steve was a Godly man that loved his wife (35 years); kids (2 girls and 2 adopted boys; 5 grandkids); he loved his church family; work family and many car buddies that he had met while on this site. Jesus gained another angel today! Steve will be greatly missed by all !!

Steve will definitely be missed. He was a good man with a huge heart and willing to help anyone, anytime. People as good as Steve are hard to find and I am glad to call him my friend. He will be dearly missed. He leaves a wonderful and loving family and I only hope for them the best. As with Tim, we have had many Corvette experiences together and truly value them all.
So hard to lose the good ones.

Thanks Mark! I remember this pic like it was yesterday as it was taken at the Bartlett Cruise-in. Those were great times when we all had our Corvettes. I really enjoyed the time we did the photo-shoot with all the cars.
