Hello, all!
I live in the Traverse City, Michigan, area so I rushed to pick up my car last Friday night (11-17-06) because you never know what the weather is going to do this time of year.I had 20 miles to get home after the purchase so, since the weather was cold but no snow (our first snow was predicted for the next day), I stopped to eat on the way home. When I left the restaurant, (WHOA!),
THERE WAS ABOUT ONE INCH OF WET SNOW ALREADY ON THE GROUND. I HAD ABOUT 12 MORE MILES TO GO SO I put on my hazard lights and drove slowly. The snow was coming towards the car so I could barely see to drive. There were cars (big SUVs) in the ditch since there are always a few "crazies" who don't know how to drive in the snow, especially the first day. (no snow plows out yet)I finally made it home. Since I have a heated garage, I let the snow melt until the next day. Then, the SNOW WAS GONE FROM ALL THE ROADS around my house so I drove about 3 blocks to the car wash, washed it and drove home to detail it out (cue tips & all)
. It's now in pristine condition again.
I'm thrilled to be able to have this car...
As a further note, I owned an XLR (that I traded for the Vette) but didn't have the fun with it that I'm looking forward to with this car. By the way, the XLR cover fits PERFECTLY on the Vette.

My car looks a lot like yours but isn't a z06. Mine is an '07 w/ a 400 engine. I'll take pictures eventually...Annvette
