Excited to belong
I'm excited to be a new member to the Forum. Bought my first Corvette, a 76/L82 in 1979 which later became my lovely wife's engagement ring. After the run of sub compacts, family sedans and mini vans, I purchased a 65 Coupe a couple years back. It's a BB with sidepipes and repro KO's. Goldwood Yellow. The NCRS gang won't approve but it has received a couple of People's Choice awards at open shows. Last July my 2005 triple black roadster was delivered. Z51/6Speed, an awesome vehicle. Now I'm hooked. I recently purchased a 69 roadster that will be the next project. It's Monza Red (repaint of original color) with Saddle leather interior. L71/L89 Auto. Has factory pipes and hardtop plus it came with four mounted Firestone redwalls. Car is a 3/3+ but it's all there and the body is straight. Hope to start this winter on cleaning it up. I'm sure I'll need a lot of advice from the experts.

Welcome, I still remember my feelings, once I joined corvette ownership. I still have two of my vettes, 69 BB and 87. I had a 74 but I sold it last year. I am thinking in the next year I might be purchasing a C5.
