Future C5 Owner
Greetings All,
I have been lurking for a few weeks, learning about my future purchase, and enjoying the excelent posts on this board. I had to join just to say thanks. I have learned more in the past few weeks from this board about the Corvette than I ever thought possible.
I am currently working in Iraq,
and I intend to buy a C5 when I get home. I think a Black, Manual transmission, Coupe will perfectly suit my needs. I have been riding high performance motorcycles (Hayabusa, and CBR 954) for the last several years, and driving a Wrangler, but I am getting rid of them in favor of a custom cruiser, and I want a Corvette to take the other spot in my garage.
I will continue to look to this board for information, and inspiration in regards to my C5.

Welcome to the forum. As a new C5 owner (98 convertible) I'll say this forum will really help you to understand the condition and possible problems with a early C5. Things like a pegged oil pressure gauge, rocking seats, bent radio antenna, tire pressure monitors need replacement, transmission locking in park due to BTSI solenoid, EBTCM codes...good luck and stay safe.
