Default Lurker coming clean

Hi folks, just ordered my '07 C6 yesterday. I have been reading this forum for about a month and have learned alot that helped me with my purchase decision. I am amazed how big this forum is. My current car is also supported with an active forum but since it only came out in 2004, you can still search threads back to then. This forum only keeps threads that are a few months old because of the size and the fact that it supports the entire lineage of the Corvette. How do I insure I am not asking a question that was answered a year ago if I can't search back then - or am I missing something?

Glad to be here, look forward to learning all I can, maybe sharing a few thoughts and ideas along the way.

Can't wait for February --- May decide to change my username then as well.

Congrats on the new purchase!

My experience around here with questions has been pretty favorable. I've never been flamed for asking a dumb question. 'Course, to me, there are no dumb questions. But if it's a general question like oil wt or tire pressure, do a Search first.

Check for Get Togethers (GTG's) in your area. Meeting other enthusiasts face to face helps break the n00b ice too.

How about "HaveC6WillTravel"
I've had 12 cars at one time, with State Farm. Pretty good to work with in that area. Suck on HO coverage in Hurricane
