Hello All, I have always been a ford guy hence the screen name and currently own two Mustangs, an 03 Cobra Vert and a 72 Mach I. Its time for a change and the wife is on board with it. In my opinion Ford really went in the wrong direction with the new 'GT500' so its not in my future. After seeing the C6 Vette up and close it looks like an awesome car and Chevy really did it right with this car, I have been reading the forums silently and I might be asking some rudimentary questions about it in the future but for now its going to be the car I'm shooting for. The Cobra is going up for sale tomorrow. I have always liked the mid to late 60's Vettes and this new style captures my attention just as much.

Thanks

Hello & welcome, once owned a GT mustang, bought a 72 Corvette loved it so much, so I got a 06 that I drive everyday, haven't missed that GT since.

Thanks all, I will be humble until I can get ahold of one of these fine engineered cars, after that its opinions away! I wish I had a crystal ball to predict the market of these cars and what/when the 08 brings to the table. Hopefully I get some call on my Cobra this weekend.

No crystal ball to predict the value, but dozens of Corvettes have passed through my garage and always profited. Besides, if your wife is okay with it, you need to TRUST her
