Hey guys, im new to the corvette scene. They have always been my second favorite car, and i never thought i would ever be able to own one. I impulse bought a 73, and I might be in some deep poop with it. I love the car sooo much, but I dont know if its worth restoring. After i washed and waxed it the first time, i can see where the fiber glass has had a crap repair job done to the front and the back of the car, the hood has some bubbles. i i already had to replace the qjet just to keep it running, and yes i kept it. Any way do to time constraints, whil eim here at work i have to go, hit me up please.

I would keep the 73 if I were you. I don't know about collectability right now but it is a "one year only" model since it has metal rear bumpers and soft front bumper. I would think that would make it worth something.
They do require some work but I really enjoy working on mine.
Mine had some bad body repair over the years and the paint was 3 shades of white. But I enjoyed driving it just the same. The guy that did my body work said he liked fiberglass because you can cut out problems - glob the fiberglass in - and then sand it down to the right shape. He had a great fiberglass man that did wonders correcting the bad body work and fixing cracks and dings.
