Engine Stamping Problem
Hello
Fellow members
I own a 1965 corvette Vin 194375S108075. The serial Vin pad has been decked and modified. The serial # has been drilled and filled with epoxy prior to decking. Has anyone seen this done before? The prodcution stamp on the vin pad is visiable though (V09IHH). I have not been able to identify the (V) in the code any ideas?
The left rear casting # is 3892657 (Late 66/early 67). The right rear casting date is (1) or (I) 146.
Obviously I am trying to confirm that this is not a matching numbers car. The car is ready to roll into the paint booth, but I have not decided to go original color (Sunfire Yellow) or Rally Red until proper ID is completed.
Can any one help?

I would post this in the C2 Section below for the best response to your question.
