New member..........Old owner
Hey hi. 31 years ago this month I was lucky enough to order my dream car, a '76 Vette, at the ripe old age of 18. After waiting the longest 4 months of my life it arrived on May 6th, and my lifetime love affair began. Getting married, buying a house, having a kid, all the things that usually spell doom for a car like this have come but my bright blue beauty still sits out in the garage, like a 70,000 mile time capsule. So here I sit, looking out at the frozen Nebraska tundra, waiting for that first warm spring day when I can get her out knowing that I'll have the same rush I had all those years ago when I drove it for the first time. I guess some things just never change..........
You are a very rare breed indeed. Must me a touch of loyalty in you for your car. I work with a guy that has a 68 BB. He hasn't driven it since 1981. I offered him $20K for this very original project car, and he didn't even blink. He said it was a member of the family. However, he has no plans to get it back on the road. Very frustrating.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard this same story. How people can just let them sit and not want to get 'em out is beyond me. Especially a big block.
