Hi folks, new to the forum, but have been lurking for quite awhile. Should be picking up my 06 LT3 Z51 car Monday afternoon, assuming the weather holds. Should have picked it up Saturday, but I did not want to drive it with 2 inches of snow on the ground. I have been an enthusiast all my life, but this will be my first Corvette. I work for Texas Driving Experience at Texas Motor Speedway and have had a blast driving and instructing in their fleet of yellow Z06 cars, and decided I wanted one myself. My first intention was to find a good used 03/04 Z06, but decided the car equipped as noted above would be a better driver for me. If I were going to autocross or track the car, the C5 Z06 would be the way to go, but wanting a driver, with XM radio, decided to spend a few more bucks and get the C6.
