Just picked up an '87 C4 about a month ago. It's a good driver with 206K on it. I'm the third owner and the previous owner had already done the engine top end and transmission. So far I've tuned it and with help from here diagnosed an MAF sensor problem. It's running pretty good. I inadverdantly corrected a coolant problem (overheating) by leaving it parked nose up on an incline overnight. The next morning when I started it I got a low coolant light, dumped 2 quarts of water into the coolant bottle and no more overheating. In fact my problem has gone the other direction. I think the prior owner may have taken out the thermostat since it cools down to 140 degrees when I get underway on the road. Oil temp stays around 180 so I don't worry about it too much. I think the low temp may be affecting performance some.
Things are pretty much stock. It's got a K&N air filter and a Magnaflow catback system on it. Sounds good and runs strong. I may get it dyno'ed after I do a few more cosmetic things to it. Hope to have pictures up soon.

You'll get it figured out. Playing with them is one of the things that Vette ownership is all about!
