Default I want another Vette!

Hello all,

I have rebuilt a 77 and owned a 95 convertible. I was forced to sell the cars but now I am looking to own the C5. Because I have been out of the corvette loop for so long, I think that I need to have some C5 experts/owners fill my brain with as much information about the C5 series as possible. It looks like I am only going to be able to afford one of the early years, 97 - 99, however I think it will still be a good car.

please...I welcome any info!

They're great cars. I've owned a black 1997 C5 6 speed and now have a silver 1999 C5 6 speed.....I'm hooked! I just haven't been able to get that red one I've been looking for ....must be the Italian blood!
PM me your e-mail address and I will send you the pictures of my silver 1999. It's the one in my avatar.

Welcome. Nothing wrong with the early years. Just look for one that hasn't been 'beat'!
Once you find it, happy motoring and keep it between the ditches!

Lots of good low mileage clean ones out there.

Take your time; check them out carefully.

A good rule of thumb is to never buy the first one you drive. This advice comes from someone with zero patience!
