Congrats on the new vette!! Looks like you have some great plans!! Welcome to the Forum, they're great for getting up to speed on all Vette things and you will also meet a lot of new friends.
Congrats on both the upcoming retirement and the new Vette!
“You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension. A dimension of sound. A dimension of sight. A dimension of Mind. You are moving into a land of both shadow and substance; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination of things and ideas. That's the signpost up ahead - your next stop... The Corvette Zone.”
Welcome to the forum. Good to see another Slidell member on the site. Congrats on the retirement. After what we have been through with Katrina, I'd say the vette is well deserved.
Congratulations on the retirement and the "present." That's a pretty awesome way to start the next chapter in your life. I think you'll find there are a lot of retired and active law enforcement officers here at the Forum. Cor07vette, a Forum administrator, is a retired police chief in Melbourne, FL.
thanks everyone..its funny..ive owned several vettes in the past...but i still catch myself getting up in the middle of the night just to go downstairs and look at it covered in the garage...

I'm pretty sure you have to become a supporting member to post attachments. I'm relatively new to the forum but will be getting my check off soon.
You don't have to be a supporting member to display pictures in your posts, you just have to have your pictures hosted somewhere on the Internet. You can get details on how to do that from one of the sticky notes in the Help section.
If you want to attach pictutures to your posts, you have to be a supporting member:

Louisiana is pretty flat, but you have the right car for zipping up the mountains you will encounter in your post-retirement travels. Until then, "Be Careful out there!"
