Can't help you with the headers, but anyone who knows as much as you do about Corvettes, Corvette engines, and old GMC gasoline engines is always welcome.
My secret sideline is playing with the GM 6.2L and 6.5L diesel V-8 engines. Mine is now running in my truck with both Nitrous Oxide and Propane injected into the inlet manifold for a little extra zoooooooom.

They're great for getting up to speed on all Vette things and you will also meet a lot of new friends. Hope you find those headers.
