Hello everyone!
My name is Jon. I'm 42 years old and I live in Effingham, IL home to the Funfest! I've been to almost every Funfest since it started but this year will be really special as it will be the first time I can actually participate! Looking forward to meeting some of you there.
I just bought my first Corvette in March. It's a 1992 Coupe, black with flame red interior. It really needed a good home! The previous owner had let it go and worse yet - made some (in my opinion) bad choices. The stock Bose speakers in the rear had been removed and replaced with cheap 3 ways mounted in cheap wood paneling. Ugh! How anyone could do that to a vette is just beyond me! These cars deserve some respect! The interior needs some work and the stock rims are in pretty bad shape. The targa top is cracked too.
I heard about Corvette Forum from a friend and have spent many hours reading the various topics. What an awesome source of information! You guys really know your stuff and it is the first place I look for answers to my questions!
