Just registered for this forum. Last month I bought a brand new 2007 C6 coupe with the 3LT trim package, Z51 option, chromed wheels and the attractive two tone leather seat upholstery. The interior colors are ebony and cashmere. It is a 6 speed manual and Atomic Orange in color. This is my second 'Vette but the first one doesn't really count because my dad talked me out of my first one, a maroon 1965 Stingray convertible with black top. That happened in 1967 when I returned from Vietnam. I had the cash to pay the $3000 asking price for the used 'Vette, but settled for a wine colored 1967 GTO 2 door coupe (had a center post). If there is something my Vette doesn't have that I wish it did, it is the Onstar system.

Default Thanks for the welcome.

Today I received a phone call from the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green. The lady, Valerie, who called was friendly and cordial. She introduced herself and asked me if I had any questions for her about my car. Since the call took me by surprise I really didn't have anything to say except how pleased I was with my Vette and how impressed I was that plant management was following up with this buyer. She invited me to visit the plant and to come in the Vette. I told her I've been there once before but I was already planning on returning because I wanted to show my Vette where it was born . She explained they had two assembly lines running, one for the Vettes and one for the Caddy XLR. And yesterday, I received a card from Chevrolet's general manager thanking me for my purchase. I have also received mail from my dealer and two phone calls letting me know to callor come by anytime I had questions. For your entertainment, here's a video of a short race on You Tube between a Lamborghini Gallardo and Z06 RACE
