Really Really new to Corvettes
My wife and I have always wanted a corvette, and with the last child finally almost out of college, we finally feel that we can get one. We are located in central Arkansas, and have recently attended the Central Arkansas Corvette Weekend in Hot Springs, and the Lone Start Corvette Show in Dallas last weekend. We are doing lots of research before we buy, and at this point we THINK we want a C5 to start with. For now we are just learning and asking lots of folks for their opinions. If you know anyone that has a nice C5 at a good price, keep us in mind.

But if you think you can swing it, Try to get a used C6. It's a much improved car over the C5 in almost every aspect. Besides, after getting your kids though college...you deserve it!

This is a question of likes. I incite you to go with the C5 but you should test both cars and choose the one you prefer.

welcome
Welcome to what I think is the best Corvette web site.
A huge amount of information is available, just take time to look for it.
Lots of rabid crazy Vette fanatics willing to help another Vette freak.
Lots of new friends to be made.

welcome to your next addiction. you know what you do with your time when the weather doesn't allow you to drive your Vette.
Where are you located? I am near Dallas and have a friend who has an 04 Commemorative Edition with the Magnesium wheels that he is getting ready to sell. It is a beautiful car with a few miles on it.
If you are interested PM me and I will get with him to get all the details.

Welcome. My husband and I bought an '06 Monterey Red vert just over a year ago. It was something my husband had always wanted, so we figured why not. What ever vette you get, I know you'll love it.
