Hi Jamie...Welcome!!

This place is a fountain of knowledge. Most of it good! lol.

Im down in Cornwall so not too far from you. Have you visited the UK Corvette site? www.corvetteclub.org.uk
Lots of info there but response times to posts can be a little slow. generally, on here, you post and within an hour you can have many responses!

Any pics of the Vette? My 75 is mostly stock....

Default Hi to the U.K Members

Hello to the new forum members from England.
I am a "new" from Germany to. I want to ask you if your Corvette is a
right or left hand driving model? I think its be difficult to drive a lefthand
steering on the streets at the U.K.

Welcome to the addiction. Bear with the ignorant question but is you Vette set up with controls on right side of car for English driving or left side. I would assume the latter but . . .

I took delivery yesterday of a new 2007 C6 silver coupe with I presume equivalent to LT3 options (they call it "luxury pack" over here - which includes leather trim, heated seats with memory and a bunch of other little options) with black interior, and A6, Z51 and Euro-DVD Navigation as options. Got 10% discount from list price on the whole package. With the US$ being weak against the Swiss Franc, after the 10% discount I paid the equivalent of $74k, so GM and all the middle-men (the importer and probably the dealer) are making out like bandits.

I have a oftopic question for the UK folks.

Why do Brits think that all americans are bloated texans?

FWIW, we make fun of texans too. (No offense to the texans here)
