Well, everything went mostly good, after I had the 69 up on a few car hoists. The mechanic who installed the 2.73 ring & pinion left the left muffler clamp loose. I had the BF Goodrichs rotated & ballanced. With both windows down I could slow cook ribs on the floorboards. Windows up and AC on was okay. I had a booming vibration from 2500 RPM on, I now believe it is just the engine comming on the cam. The longer I drove it the sweeter it got until I crossed the Louisiana line and had to slow down, no brakes! I pulled off I-20 at Sibley La. to the NAPA parts house, they said they had 5 rebuild kits for the master cylinder in the USA, all at least a thousand miles away. They did have a 77 rebuilt Master Cylinder so we frankenstiened one with some of my old parts & some of thier new ones, a good bleed job & brakes were like new! I will have to fab a heat shield for the MC as the headers cook it now. I will post some pictures of the Tuxedo Black on Black 69 as soon as i figure out how.
