Default Entering the Corvette scene

Hello everyone. My name is Kashain and I am a going to be a future owner of a C6 corvette. I am not sure how soon, but it is definitely going to happen. Currently I own a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbocoupe which has many mods. I am a member of NATO(North American Turbocupe Organization) and TurboFord, hence my handle. I have been lurking on here for a few weeks and gained a wealth of info about the vette. I 've been reading a lot of posts of new vette owners and their experiences about driving their cars for the first time and I can't wait to post my own. I am a car connoisseur at heart and I appreciate all performance vehicles. My problem is that I am already in love with the C6 vette and I have never sat in or test driven one. I am going to try my best to make it to Carlisle this year. I have been to the all Fords Nationals at Carlisle in the past and had a blast. I look forward to speaking and meeting everyone whether it is here on CF or in person.

Welcome Kashain.

All you need here is the desire and appreciation for these fine automobiles. Owning a late model corvette is better even than the dream of owning one. They are great fun to drive.

Well, right now I just recently just graduated from school and I am starting my career. I'll take me a few years but the anticipation is going to drive me to work hard. Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Welcome here. I just got my self a Corvette. I used to have a couple thunderbirds. Those TC's are pretty cool and can be made quick for cheap. Not as quick as Corvettes for cheap but still Mustang spanking quick. Well enjoy your search for the right C6.
