OK, I'm one of them old farts that never grew up, especially when it comes to cars. All my life there has been some kind of performance car in my driveway and today I have a unique way of remembering a lot of them. I go to a lot of cruise ins and car shows where I always see one that I can say "I had one of those".
As vettes go I bought my first one three years ago, an '88 coupe. I put a lot of TLC into it and enjoyed driving it daily for a year. In December of 2005 when I decided to retire at 62 I knew what I wanted as that personal gift to myself, a C5 coupe. I sold the '88 and after a lot of looking found my 2004 magnetic red coupe. Since then I have heavely modified it for show. It has won many trophies as "we", thats me and Maggie as I named her, make the rounds wherever cars gather.
I have spent countless hours during all this time surfing the web and it wasnt until now that I found a site that is so useful and enjoyable as the CF.
A Fact: The enjoyment of fine cars knows no ages. You can find the same smile on a six year old as a sixty year old and all in between when they stand before a beautiful automobile. MAX
