So I impulsively bought this '02 Pewter targa coupe last weekend (M6). I Couldn't help it. It was beautiful, garage kept, with only 15.5k on the clock. It's pretty well loaded, power everything, HUD, Power Telescopic column (1SC), etc.
And here's my 400hp Z/28. I guess it will be for sale soon.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to begining the buildup of the Vette. It's great to drive but I'm used to a little more power. Maybe I could swap the motors.... hmmm....
Congrats on the 02 vette, Jay!! Very nice. You will be driving around for quite a while with a big "corvette grin" on your face! Welcome to the Forum. They are great for learning more about vettes and you will meet a lot of new friends.

Yep, she's fun to drive. I've been behind the wheel a lot this weekend.

I've done all my own work on my Z28 (heads, cam, etc) so I know the LS1 very well but I will be doing a lot of reading to catch up on the rest of this vehicle. Thanks again for the warm welcomes,
-Jay
Nice toys! Black and silver are great colors. How does the new one drive? I drove a 2000 and it was excellent.
The new one drives great. It does have the Z51 option if that makes a big difference. I had never driven a Corvette before but when I compare it to the Z28, it's a much more comfortable ride and yet much more nimble and quick. I still miss the power of the Z28 but I will get the Corvette up there.
